Whether you are looking for a youth club for your child to attend or you wish to become a volunteer for us, we welcome everyone with open arms. Opened by Doreen Mitchell and Christine Connell in 1987, Ivy Street Community Centre hosts a range of activities for young people based in Blackburn.
The centre is full of bright and friendly volunteers who are always more than happy to listen to anyone who may have a problem and will always provide a fun timer with every planned event. Ivy Street Community Centre offers a friendly and safe atmosphere for you and your child with a wide range of activites for young people and opportunities for volunteers. As well as planned activities and a happy place for youngsters to socialise in, we also offer our services to children's parties, Asian weddings and Henna parties.
The venue can also be used as a venue for private parties and community association meetings.
All volunteers are CRB checked, first aid trained and food and hygiene trained, so you can rest assured that your child is in safe hands.
Please see our programme of events page for further details of activities and events at the centre. We look forward to seeing you there!
