When Sonya asked me to swap sides with her and sit in the driver seat, it was a first for me! I'd never driven before (ever!) and was surprised, that, 5 minutes into my first lesson, I would literally be ‘thrown in at the deep in’. Sonya doesn't mess about! From learning the basics in the first few lessons, to progressing to your set manoeuvres then road and traffic skills. Sonja builds up your knowledge and skills each week in a structured way. As my lessons progressed, at times, I found driving myself getting frustrated, making silly mistakes and would worry that perhaps ‘driving might not be for me’. Sonya was always encouraging. If I wasn't sure about something I'd learnt in a previous lesson I only had to say and we would run through a particular manoeuvre again (and again!) I persevered and week’s later things started to ‘fall into place’, just as Sonya said they would. Learning to drive with Sonja was a great experience. She is a lovely, patient lady, who explains things clearly and concisely. Now, having passed it was strange getting into the car for the first time and not having Sonya beside me! Trust me, book your lessons with Sonja and you will look forward to your lessons! I cannot recommend her highly enough! Good luck!

When i first got in the car with Sonya I had no idea how to even start the car, but Sonya explained everything clearly and if i needed she would explain again for me. She was very patient and always kept her cool which was one thing i was scared about if I done something wrong, I would definitely recommend Sonya to anyone who needs a patient and kind instructor, she is brill!!
