P P Engineering Crane Hire in Rotherham has been hiring cranes to customers throughout the UK for 30 years. This family run business has a reputation for offering a reliable and cost effective service and many of our customers return time after time.

All our staff including appointed persons, crane supervisors, crane operators and mobile crane maintenance staff are fully qualified and hold a CSCS card (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme) as proof of their qualifications and experience. They have also passed the CSCS Health and Safety test.

From our base at Kilnhurst, South Yorkshire PP Engineering Crane Hire operate a wide range of mobile cranes suitable for any purpose including the Coles AP415 Jumbo which is particularly suitable when low headroom is involved in removing machinery, the Jones Iron Fairy in 12 and 15 ton models, and All Terrain mobile cranes from 30 tonnes right up to 220 tonnes. We also have City cranes in 25, 30, and 40 ton capacities having low clearance height, which have a wide range of applications inside buildings or on difficult terrain. Test weights are also available for hire.

We hire our cranes in two ways dependent on the experience and knowledge of the customer:

CPA CRANE ONLY HIRE In a crane only hire the crane and operator will work to the customer’s instructions. The customer will plan the lift, select a suitable crane, specify the slinging and signalling arrangements, supervise the lift and be responsible for the lifting operation.
CONTRACT LIFT HIRE In a contract lift PP Eng. will plan the lift, select a suitable crane, specify the slinging and signalling arrangements, supervise the lift and be responsible for the lifting operation.
Although in a Contract Lift much of the risk and concern is taken away from the customers, it is still their responsibility to provide accurate information in connection with the items being lifted and the ground conditions. The customers must have Public Liability Insurance.
