St Giles Hospice is the most prominent charity in the area. The hospice provides high quality medical and nursing care for local people living with cancer and other serious illnesses. They offer support for their families and carers in South Staffordshire, North Birmingham and North Warwickshire.

Roy’s walk is an inspirational self funded 1500 mile charity walk by local man Roy Higgins walking from Lands End to Cape Wrath in North West Scotland raising money for the East Cheshire Hospice and Friends for Leisure. Roy supported by his wife Helen have planned this challenging fundraising walk to raise money for both these charities and are looking for sponsorship and donations.
