The Animalarium at Borth near Aberystwyth is wheelchair friendly and has disabled toilets and preferential free parking spaces. You can feed the animals all day and there is also big cat and croc feeding. For the children there are pony rides, childrens play area, and kiddies Indoor Ball Pool. It is only a short walk from the station and is also close to the beach. Opening Hours are Easter- October 10 am - 6 pm, November - March 11am - 4pm. Butterfly House

Located about three miles off the A44 at Capel Bangor. The farm is surrounded by waterfalls ,walks and woodlands. The farm is wheelchair friendly and coach groups are welcome. Pumlumon Fivepeaks Angling

The area of Pumlumon- Fivepeaks provides a wonderful variety of angling experiences, set amongst some of the most scenic landscapes in Wales. Fish for sewin and salmon on the rivers, and brown and rainbow trout in the lakesand reservoirs. Excellent river fishing can be found on the Rheidol, Ystwyth and Teifi, whilst lake fishing can be found at Trisant, Penrhyncoch, Talybont, Teifi Pools and Nant y moch reservoirs. There is good stocked fishing available at Brontnewydd, Tair Llyn and the Cwm Rheidol Dam both of which are in the Rheidol Valley. Fantasy Farm Park

Set  in the heart of the Mid Wales countryside. there is something here for all ages to enjoy from feeding the friendly animals, the mechanised rodeo bull, outdoor synthetic ice skating, bumper cars and pedal boats.The park is located just east of the A487 at Llanrhystud about halfway between Aberystwyth and Aberaeron. One of the great libraries of the world, the National Library of Wales is the leading research centre for Welsh and Celtic studies. There is always a full programme of exhibitions featuring items from its huge collections of art works and paintings, books, manuscripts, photographs and ephemera. The library has a 100 seater cinema and admission to the library and exhibitions is free. Opening hours are Mon - Fri 9.30 - 18.00. From 08/05/10 the library will also be open on Saturdays. Bwlch Nant yr Arian

Bwlch Nant yr Arian is located ten miles east of Aberystwyth on the A44 on the western fringes of the Cambrian mountains.  You can see the Red Kites feeding daily at 2.00pm in the Winter and 3.00pm in the Summer. Aberystwyth Cliff Railway

The Cliff Railway is the longest electric cliff railway in Britain. Vale of Rheidol Railway

Travel on this narrow guage steam train from Aberystwyth to Devils Bridge where you can visit the world famous Mynach Falls. An unforgettable twelve mile journey through the spectacular Rheidol Valley awaits you as you travel from sea level to a height of 600 feet in just under one hour.
