Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway are a great family planning activity with steam trains running every Sunday all year and upto seven days in the summer. Thomas the Tank Engine is also available to take a ride with in Spring, Easter and August Bank Holidays. They also have special occassions including Santa's trains in November and December, diesel weekends, strawberry specials, New Years Day, Boxing Day and a 1940's weekend.
