We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Giggle and Grow Day Nursery website. The nursery is situated in the town centre and provides plenty of space where the children can learn and play in a carefully designed environment.We currently offer 36 places for babies and toddlers in three rooms located on the ground floors, and 32 places for children 30 months to 5 years located on our first floor. We have a large outdoor area, enabling children to learn about the natural world and promote good health and well being.
Giggle and Grow is open from 7.30am to 6.00pm each weekday. We close on Bank Holidays and a week at Christmas.
All food is cooked on our premises each day by our experienced cook, to provide a fully nutritional and balanced diet.We work with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting the standards for learning, development and care, offering quality care and pre school education for children from birth to 5 years.
The overarching aim of the EYFS is to help young children achieve the Every Child Matters outcomes of staying safe, being healthy, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution and achieving economic well being.
Our aim is to promote these outcomes by creating an environment in which the children in our care can feel secure and loved. During their time at nursery, children will enjoy all the wonderful things that childhood brings, fun, laughter, learning and sharing. The atmosphere is relaxed, happy and fun and we provide a wide range of learning and discovery opportunities to help children in our care reach their full potential, whatever their age and abilities.
The nursery recognises and values the diverse community that it serves and parents are always very welcome to spend time in the nursery. We believe that quality can be achieved by working together in partnership with parents, carers and the community. All staff are experienced in the care of children and will give your child love, care and encouragement throughout their time at Giggle and Grow.
