J D Taverns started when Craig Applegate acquired the Feathers Pub in Gorleston, and has, over the years gone from strength to strength with the further additions of the Sun at Bradwell, The Turnstone at Hopton and most recently The Tramway Also in Gorleston.
All the pubs underwent a major refurbishment in 2007 and a common theme was introduced so that a very high standard of presentation could be established and maintained.
Equally high standards are demanded of the Staff and Craig's Managers constantly strive to present their customers with an exciting and changing line up of special events. From parties to fancy dress themed nights and celebrations of national days and events from all over the world
Every J D Tavern has a pool team or two and tries to keep a mix of the traditional and the new with flat screen TV’s showing music videos and live sports events
