From an early age, Paul Taylor had assisted his father in the family business of cabinet making, developing an interest in the construction and planning of bedroom and kitchen furniture.

He left High school in 1977 to join his father in cabinet making in Heywood, Rochdale, Greater Manchester, continuing the tradition of cabinet making synonymous with the name Taylor.

In 1986 Paul Taylor established his own company, Taylormade Cabinet Makers in the Heywood, Rochdale, Greater Manchester.

Initially, the company offered a limited range of kitchen and bedroom products, however as the company has developed so has the product availability and range. We now supply appliances such as Astracast, Blanco, Bosch, Miele, Smeg, Belling, CDA, New World, Zanussi, Neff and Franke sinks and taps, in all our high quality kitchens.

Taylormade now offers a wide range of  kitchen and bedroom  furniture. The company also provides a specialist cabinet making service which includes the development of “one off” pieces of furniture made specifically for the customer, this range includes planning home office environments and providing bespoke shelving units.


Taylormade provides a bespoke kitchen and bedroom service ,and paul himself undertakes the appointments, visiting customers to plan their ideas and offering advice on the best use of their space and product availability within their financial remit.

Taylormade has found as customers have left the Heywood, Rochdale area, they have approached the company to provide services at their new property. The company has recently completed expansion into larger premises which now enable the manufacture of specialist furniture ranging from bars, show cases, reception desks, solid wood worktops, home studies and office furniture.
