The Glass Room:
Is based on the ground floor of the very busy Xscape indoor ski complex in Castleford, West Yorkshire (just of the M62 J32).  This is the only style bar & lounge based in the main complex (situated on the left as you walk towards the Ski Centre). Our relaxing & stylish wine bar offers a wonderful social or business meeting place for drinks, a coffee or light lunch during the day with great versatile pub entertainment & buzzing atmosphere in the evenings.

During the day we offer a wide range of bar snacks and freshly ground coffee along with our free house bar service.  At the end of your stressful working day, why not bring your business colleagues with you to relax & unwind at the end of the day.  Here at the Glass Room, you are always assured of a family friendly welcome.

Our bar snacks (served 12pm to 6pm - see page 2 for details) include:

  • Paninis - Various Fillings served with salad, coleslaw & nachos
  • Sandwiches - Various Fillings in ciabatta bread, baguet or roll with above sides
  • Jacket Potatos - Various Fillings served with salad & coleslaw
  • Toasties - Various Fillings served with salad, coleslaw & nachos
  • Burgers - Various types & side options served with salad coleslaw & chips
  • Salads - Various base full plated salads to suit your choice
  • Kids meals - Sandwiches & Toasties with soft drink

Evenings at The Glass Room:
From a comfortable & sophisticated cafe bar during the day, in the evening starts The Glassroom undergoes a metamorphosis to become a lively cocktail & wine bar offering a full bar service of draught & bottled beers, mixers, shorts & cocktails.

Event nights & entertainment are never in short supply at the Glass Room as there are often brewery promotion nights, resident DJ on weekends and Karaoke nights on Thursdays all enhanced by vibrant music & large plasma screen TVs.

Opening Hours:    Monday to Wednesday: 4pm till midnight     *     Thursday to Sunday 12noon till midnight
