A tower on the side of the building dates back to 1066 and Alfred Lord Tennyson wrote a poem here in 1856. Inside, old beams enhance the building's traditional look. There is a 30 cover dining section and two bars in the open plan area. The impressive exterior can be noticed as you travel across the bridge with its large picturesque seating area of 50 seats which overlooks the River Usk. We hold Cask Marque accreditation which means that we are not only a popular venue for the quality food we serve but also for our real ales which have to be tasted...!
