The Storm Brewing Company brewery based near the town centre have collected many awards for their beer and produce a popular local pint called Ale Force, which might be found at the The Old Ship Inn, The Railway View, the Waters Green Tavern and the Davenport Arms,other pints brewed include Windgather and Storm Damage.
