Bury Tourist Information point offers leaflets and information on attractions, famous buildings and country walks around Bury and the surrounding areas, call in or phone for copies.

The East Lancashire Railway runs from Bury, through Ramsbottom and in to Rawtenstall in the Rossendale Valley. Many of the engines using the line are steam powered with classic engines often visiting the region.

The Ramsbottom Heritage Society is located in Ramsbottom, Bury, Lancashire, England. The Society was formed in 1987  and exists to promote the heritage of the town.  There is a Heritage Centre which is a tourist attraction and which is  open every weekend from Easter until Christmas.
