Poppies Daycare Nursery

Poppies Daycare Nursery has been established since 1994 and is situated on the grounds of The Aspire Business Centre in a secure setting in the centre of Tidworth. We are open through out the year and welcome babies from 3 months and children up to 5 years on a full time or part time basis. Our experienced staff are here to look after your child from 8 am until 5.30pm every weekday.

All our staff are fully qualified and work at a pace that is best suited to each individual child ensuring the best level of care. We have received 3 Outstanding/Good Ofsted reports over the past 15years and have implemented a number of quality assurance schemes under the umbrella of the Effective Early Project and Investors of People. Recently under the Pre-School Learning Alliance "Aiming for Quality" scheme we received our re-accreditation. We are very proud of our achievments and what we provide to the community.

The parents have the option to send packed lunches for the child although healthy balanced hot meals are provided along with snacks on a daily basis. A Biometric security entry system has been implemented ensuring that safety is of paramount importance to us. There is also a secure outdoor play area for children to enjoy with relevant activities for each age group.

A key worker approach has been implemented ensuring that each child and their family have a special attachment with them. Free settling in sessions are offered once the child has been registered with us. We try to make this process as easy as possible for the child as some may settle in immediately whilst some take a little longer. You can be assured that Poppies provides a home from home enviroment for the children making the the settling in process easier.
