The Alexander Arms is a friendly, family run hotel that is centrally situated in the heart of Limavady’s business and shopping area with easy access to all the facilities on offer in the town. The tantalizingly good A la carte menu starts from 4pm. The hotel can cater for tourist parties and buses for lunch, high tea or supper and there is a function room available that can cater for parties of up to 60 people.

The hotel sits opposite the house of Jane Ross who wrote down the music of the ‘Londonderry Air’, better known as the music to ‘Danny Boy’. Limavady, the heart of the beautiful roe Valley, is the perfect launch pad for tourism in the north west and along the north coast. It is only minutes away from the 7 miles of golden sands of the blue flag award Benone beach, the world famous Giant’s causeway, the roe valley country park, and a visit to the summer seaside resort of Portrush or the maiden city for a sightseeing tour of ‘Derry’s Walls’.
