Harold johnson & Son is a family jewellers established over 100 years and are stockists of most of the major watch brands including Rolex, Breitling, Cartier, Omega, Tag Heuer, Rado and Longines. Known for sourcing unusual jewellery, their comprehensive stock of fine jewellery and diamonds is the largest in the area. Robert Johnson carries out all valuations on site, where he is able to assess old and new pieces of jewellery, watches, clocks and silver items. We are able to carry out most jewellery, watch and clock repairs on site. We have two resident watchmakers who are Rolex trained, and can undertake everything from battery replacement to full watch servicing.
One of our watchmakers is also trained to carry out clock repairs and clock servicing. We also have a fully trained goldsmith on site that is able to carry out a large range of repairs from soldering to sizing to re-designing jewellery.
Our in-house head jeweller and designer Ralph Leach is able to assist you in creating your own unique piece of jewellery. On the other hand if you simply decide to re-design and existing piece of jewellery, we can offer sketches of suggested designs.
Johnsons are pleased to offer on-site engraving. With the help of our digital laser-engraving machine we are able to engrave everthing from the inside of a wedding ring, to a company logo on a trophy. Seal engraving and hand engraving can also be carried out on request.
