Road Runners Driver Training

All our instructors at Road Runners Driver Training in Ashton under Lyne, besides being fully qualified, have a friendly, patient approach to teaching. They believe the more you relax, the more you can learn, and if you enjoy your lessons, chances are you'll build up your confidence and your driving skills more quickly.

We pick up our students even if they live local or in Rochdale and Oldham.

Our schedule of our driver training incorporates both parts of the driving test; you will need a valid provisional driving license to take your theory test. Once you've got that, you can book your theory and hazard perception tests online, or by phone .

Firstly, you have the theory test.
Secondly, you have the hazard perception test.
Finally, the practical test.

In your practical test, you have 40 minutes to demonstrate everything you have learned in your driving lessons. You need to show you can drive competently and safely in all kinds of driving situations. You'll be asked to do two of the three reversing maneuvers you've practiced with your instructor, and possibly make an emergency stop. You'll also answer two vehicle safety check questions, one "show me" and one 'tell me'" To pass, you will have to complete the test with no serious faults, and you must have 15 or fewer minor errors.
