The Bowen Technique

Alwyn Wood is the sole practitioner of Rose Bank Complementary Healthcare and specialises in the Bowen Technique which is a gentle, relaxing hands on alternative treatment for many problems. The Bowen Technique is a simple but effective way of producing consistently high results including back and neck pain, frozen shoulder, sciatica, muscle spasms, tennis elbow, hamstring problems, knee problems, pain management, strokes, stress, hay fever and whiplash. Although these are some of the problems the Bowen Technique can have good results for, the list is endless as it promotes healing for so many muscular-skeletal disorders.

Alwyn has many years of experience within complementary medicine and offers a cosy, newly decorated treatment room within her home in Yarm. She has helped patients throughout the Teesside area and beyond.

Training in Bowen was undertaken at the European College of Bowen Studies. Alwyn is a member of the Bowen Therapists' European Register and a therapist of the General Natural Practitioner (Guild).
