The Bakers Dozen

At the Bakers Dozen we bake all our products fresh each day. We have been established as a bakery in Chard for over 30 years and our range of breads includes not only white, wholemeal, granary and seeded breads but also GI and SPELT bread for those on restricted diets.

We bake a wide range of pasties, sausage rolls and other various pies and slices fresh daily, which are available to buy hot or cold from our shop. Alongside these for those in need of a quick snack are our selection of freshly cut sandwiches, together with crisps, soft drinks and our take away tea, coffee and our home-made soup and roll.

We are specialist cake makers and decorators with many years experience in producing cakes that not only look fabulous but tastewonderful too. We welcome all orders for wedding, birthday, and celebration cakes, all of which are made to order allowing us to bake the cake you want, when you want it!

We stock a full range of cake decorating materials for those wishing to decorate their own cakes, including Regal Ice icing, almond paste, ribbons, flowers, figurines, letters, numbers, and cake boards of all sizes.

We are also wholesale distributors of all products in our range, particularly breads, savouries and sandwiches, and welcome enquiries from schools, restaurants, guest houses, hotels, pubs and inns. We can also fulfil "one off" bulk orders from those catering for special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, charity events or similar.
