Square 1

Square 1 is an atmospheric brasserie style restaurant overlooking the historic market square in Ilminster. We offer good food and fine wines in the elegant and comfortable surroundings of our recently refurbished Georgian listed building.

We are open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and can offer you the choice of eating in the elegant upper dining room with delightful views across the market square, having a snack at the bar, or eating in our cosy lower dining room.

At Square 1 we are committed to using locally sourced ingredients and all of our dishes are freshly prepared and cooked to order using only the best quality local ingredients.

Our varied menu includes fresh fish, succulent steaks, pastas, home baked artisan breads and delicious desserts. We have a number of vegetarian options available and our full menu, (including our daily specials), and our extensive wine list, is available to view on our website, www.square1ilminster.co.uk.

Booking is advisable at busy periods and is required for Sunday Lunch.

Our upper dining room can be hired exclusively for private functions or parties and can seat 40 people comfortably. Please call or e-mail Chris to discuss your requirements.

Open for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. 9.00am - 11.30am breakfast 12.00 noon - 2.30pm lunch 6.30pm - 9.00 pm evening meals

Sunday : 12:00 - 2:30pm For Sunday Lunch, pre-booking required
