Established in 1990, Soleys are the main suppliers of halal meat in the Midlands, and a centre for halal meat. Over the years, our business has experienced a phenomenal increase in turnover. We transformed our retail section into a more attractive, modern and hygienic area, introducing state of the art cold rooms and refrigerated display units attracting new customers.

Our future plans are to develop and cater for the continuing demand of halal meat in the middle of England meaning more outlets in prime locations and expansion of wholesale and delivery services.

The Arabic word "Halal" means fit or proper. When applied to food, the term means fit for consumption according to Islamic law. Eating Halal is obligatory for every Muslim. In the case of halal meat and poultry, Islamic law states that animals must be slaughtered in a Muslim-supervised factory, the machinery in this factory must be cleansed according to Islamic law.
