Oriental rugs have a long history dating back over 2500 years. Many oriental rugs will last for hundreds of years if properly cared for and can become family heirlooms. 

When Rainbow International clean your Oriental rugs, we will come to your home and inspect the rug to asses the most appropriate method of cleaning. We will then confirm the cost of cleaning and if you are happy with the quotation we will take your rug to our unit. Your rug is then tested for colour fastness and shrinkage and the most appropriate cleaning method will be decided by our rug cleaning specialist.

No matter what cleaning method is used the rug is always treated with our Rug beating machine. Your rug is laid onto a grid upside down and a machine is run over the backing many times. This machine has special straps which safely beat the back of the rug which will remove all dust, dirt and other dry soiling prior to using our selected cleaning method.

Your rug is then deep cleaned and thoroughly rinsed and dried and returned to you ready for use.
