The Golden Fleece is delightfully situated so as to be within a few miles of the Somerset, Devon and Dorset borders allowing visitors easy access to a wide range of local attractions including some Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
The Bed and breakfast accommodation comprises five rooms which have been converted from what was originally a shelter for shepherds and their flocks, and more recently a skittle alley, and which have been outfitted in a modern, tasteful style.
Each room has a luxurious en-suite bathroom, wi-fi internet connection, television, and the expected tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms have either king size, queen size or 2 single beds and there is one room with disabled facilities. All rooms have 24-hour access making them ideal for both business trips and holiday visits.
Breakfasts are taken in the restaurant in the main building which also has wheelchair access. Guests are of course welcome to make use of the restaurant and bar facilities in the evening where traditional English home cooked food is on offer from the main menu, and for those with less hearty appetites there is also a snack menu available at the bar.
