Livingston Baptist Church Dedridge
Church
Livingston Baptist Church (LBC) in Livingston began meeting in 1963, after it was designated the fourth of the Scottish New Towns in 1962. LBC was constituted in 1968 with 17 founding members and began worshipping as a church in Howden House at that time, and joined in membership with the Baptist Union of Scotland.
By 1978 the congregation had grown to 94 members and began to establish a new extension ministry as a place of worship in the expanding Dedridge area of Livingston. Today, the Dedridge congregation has grown to 127 members and has recently opened a new extension at it’s building and church at Quentin Rise in Livingston.
