The village is about half a mile west of the A1, J42 at the turn-off for the A63 to Selby and Leeds. For the connoisseurs of real ale at one of England's oldest traditional Inns, steeped with history dating back to 1540. 

Simpson and Simpsons Award winning traditional ales from the Brown Cow brewery are always available together with a variety of guest hand pulled beers. We also have Timothy Taylors Landlord, John Smith's, Theakstons, Kronenburg and Fosters.
