At Richard Green Collectables all can be sure of a warm and friendly welcome. There is a wide variety of stock from antiques through to collectables, with a selection of more modern pieces. Furniture including sideboards, chairs, tables, display cabinets and the occasional “what not” are all to be found. Period ceramics include individual items by Clarice Cliffe, animal studies by Beswick, vases by Moorcroft and Doulton, and stunning plates by Poole. There are tea sets, commemorative plates, fine crystal, and bronzes. Carltonware, Goss crested china, and Arthur Wood are often to be found; and it is rumoured that a Martin Brothers bird was seen perched on one of the oil paintings at the back of the showroom. There is glassware after the style of Lalique and quality porcelain by Coalport. Art Deco and Art Nouveau are represented together with more recent pottery items from the Leach factory. Smaller items include period jewellery, medals, and small figurines. Richard sells to both public and trade, and also buys items from time to time; local delivery can be arranged at reasonable cost.
