Lindrick Livery

The livery yards are near Ripon and have an indoor and outdoor arena, secure tack rooms, drying rooms, laundry facilities and parking for trailers and boxes. The staff are experienced, friendly and helpful.

The Livery business is part of Low Lindrick Farms, which is a family farming business run by Tom Ramsden. It has strong links with the local hunt, the West of Yore and the farm is run to help and support the livery customers.

Louise Ruddock runs the day to day activities of the yards. She has been working at Lindrick since about 1985 and is the yard manager.

She is helped by Dan Lafford who lives nearby in Galphay and other full and part-time staff.

They enjoy working for you and aim to give you 110% support for all that you want to achieve with your horse.

We cater for full, and DIY livery.  Knowledgeable and experienced staff are led by Louise Ruddock, who has been working at Lindrick for over 20 years.  Stirk equine vetinerary surgeons are on site at Cow Myers. We try to run a yard with a relaxed and  friendly atmosphere, where the enjoyment of owning a horse is paramount.

All the stables are purpose built and made from timber grown in the woods you ride round. They are airy, sturdy and mostly 12′ x 12′. There are some smaller pony stables and some larger ones for the bigger horses. They all have stable mats, water bowls and tie up rings. Each stable has a rug rack, a feed bin and storage space outside for grooming kit.

There is year round turn out and we will help turn-out and bring-in. This has to be flexible in very wet weather but we do our best to get the horses out every day.

There is parking space for boxes and trailers to be left at the yards.
