We strive to serve you and your loved one with a professional, courteous and confidential caring service carried out with dignity and respect.
Our services include:
We are very conscious of the modern day inflated funeral costs and would strive to offer affordable prices. We are always deeply honoured when a family requests us to attend to the funeral arrangements of their loved one.
Our aim is to relieve families of further stress and worry at this difficult time. We intend to continue to serve the community to the highest standards and are always seeking to improve our service.
We have recently been entrusted by the Environmental Health Department of Ballymena Borough Council and the Order of St. Louis to exhume fourteen of their deceased sisters from their convent cemetery and re-inter in St. Patrick’s Church cemetery, Crebilly. We feel privileged and proud to have provided this service.
Our services to you start when you contact us, whether by telephone or calling personally, and extend often way beyond the day of the funeral.
All our services personally supervised by Sean Hassan Dip F.D.
We serve the whole of Ballymena and surrounding areas.
Our funeral home was opened in 2001 and consists of a chapel of rest, two viewing rooms, toilet facilities, a coffin showroom and a memorials showroom. Our embalming theatre is at the rear of the building guaranteeing complete privacy.
We are very conscious of the modern day inflated funeral costs and would strive to offer affordable prices. In all aspects of the funeral arrangements our staff will point out the procedures and legal requirements. Whilst arranging a funeral, we will advise on costs and charges to be incurred, culminating in a full written estimate that should be agreed and signed so that you feel confident with the funeral commitment you have arranged.
Our services to you start when you contact us, whether by telephone or calling personally at our funeral home and extend often way beyond the day of the funeral. Please contact us at any time, 24 hours day or night.
If you choose a burial for your loved one, you may need to purchase a new grave or re-open an existing one. Where a new grave is required we will liaise with the cemetery’s representatives to select a new grave.
If you choose a cremation for your loved one, we will organise the additional documentation which needs to be completed and signed before a cremation takes place. Most cemeteries and crematoria that are administered by local councils offer the facilities of small graves that can be purchased solely for cremated remains. These small graves can be visited by your family allowing you to pay your last respects and mark the grave with a headstone or grave marker.
Hygienic treatment and attendance to the deceased are also considered to be very important by our experienced staff. The last time you saw a loved one may have been a distressing memory, perhaps in hospital or a private nursing home. We believe that, in asking us to look after a member of your family, you would like to be certain that the best that could be done for your relative has been done whether you wish to visit the deceased before the funeral or not.
If donations are requested in lieu of flowers we will accept and list donations on your behalf and forward them in due course to a charity of your choice.
We will assist with the preparation of a death announcement and ensure its publication in your chosen newspaper. Death notices are accepted by Local and National newspapers including The Ballymena Times, The Ballymena Guardian, The Newsletter, The Telegraph, The Irish Times, The Irish Independent, The Irish Examiner, The Evening Herald, The Sunday Independent, etc.
We will arrange the appropriate music, soloists, and musicians as preferred by the family (The list below is intended as a guideline only, there are many other hymns which are appropriate during a funeral mass/service).
Coffin Selection, Floral Tributes, Funeral Service Booklets, Bereavement Pins, Memorial Stationery, Memorials, Inscriptions, Renovations, Headstones, Grave Markers, Small Memorials, Photo Plaques, Vases, etc.
