The Lumbutts Centre is a unique venue for training and development. Situated on the backbone of England where the tree line of the Calder valley gives way to the upland moors of the Pennines. The purpose built residential centre with its extensive grounds and lakes nestles in the quiet picturesque village of Lumbutts, yet conveniently situated for the M62 motorway and railway travel. Our centre is Ideal for sole use events where ultimate privacy is important. For groups of 10 persons or more, the location is a natural choice whatever the purpose of your event, which along with the excellent food and surroundings allows you to relax and be as productive as possible. The centre has two large rooms and additional breakout areas suitable for many activities including lectures, conferences, music, art and therapy. Enjoy our warm hospitality and good home cooking in a peaceful rural setting. We have accommodation for up to 32 people, in comfortable bedrooms with ensuite facilities. You can use your own Tutors/Facilitators. The locality of the centre also provides a wide variety of opportunities for challenging activities including- Abseiling, orienteering, canoeing and raft building.
