Hamble Sports Complex

At Hamble Sports Complex we are a non-profit making organisation, with all available funds being ploughed back into the services and facilities which are made available to both the students of Hamble Community Sports College and the wider Community.

We are proud of our extensive facilities and, as well as providing a health club and fitness centre for the community to use individually, we are also home to some of the area's top class sports clubs and organisations, such as Dynamo School of Gymnastics who have produced Olympic class gymnasts.

So, whether you wish to lose weight, tone up or just want to develop the exercise habit, we have the facilities and staff to help and support you. All our friendly, highly trained and qualified staff are motivated and passionate in helping people achieve their health and fitness goals. The support provided includes fitness assessments, diet & nutrition advice and 1-on-1 personal training.

The complex is available to all ages, although you must be at least 16 to use the fitness suite. We have special arrangements for our popular ‘Jubilee Club’ which is available to the over 50’s, where we provide great informal and sociable exercise mornings.

Fitness Suite: Our first-class gym is fitted throughout with the latest cardio vascular and resistance equipment from Life Fitness™, who are acknowledged as world leaders in the design and manufacture of fitness equipment. This includes treadmills, steppers, rowers, bikes and cross-trainers as well as weight machines. The entire Fitness Suite has sprung wooden flooring with under-floor heating and is well ventilated, so you will always feel comfortable when exercising. For your entertainment whilst exercising, we have TVs as well as a CD / Tape / Radio PA system with speakers. 

Movement Studio: Our Dance and Movement Studio comfortably houses 50 people and is used for most of our Weekly Fitness Sessions such as Step and Tone, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba and Legs, Bums and Tums. To see a full schedule of all our classes please visit our website. The studio is mirrored entirely along one wall and the floor is made from sprung wood and is fully under-floor heated! A stereo with CD / Tape / Radio feeds and a microphone, which the Instructor can use to talk over the music, is also available. 

Sports Hall: This can accommodate either 4 badminton courts, 4 table-tennis courts, 4 short tennis courts, 1 full-sized basketball court, 1 full-sized netball court or 1 full-sized volleyball court. It can also be set up for indoor cricket (with cricket nets). The Sports Hall is NOT available for indoor football. 

Swimming Pool: The swimming Pool has recently been refurbished and provides a 20-metre, 4-lane swimming facility. The deep end of the pool is 1.97 meters deep and the shallow end is 1.2 meters deep. There is a fully qualified RLSS Pool Lifeguard on duty at all times. We offer a number of weekly swimming sessions for all age groups, and special swimming lessons aimed mainly at children or new swimmers. 

Tennis Courts: We can offer top class, fully functional, floodlit tennis courts which are available for hire evenings and weekends. In addition, if required, we have rackets and balls for hire with a small deposit. 

Facilities Hire: If you run your own fitness course or sports training course, then you may be interested in hiring our facilities. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Other activities which we can host include birthday parties, these include an Inflatable Pool Party, General Pool Party, Football Party and Bouncy Castle Party. In addition, during every school holiday we hold Kids Holiday Activities, open to all children aged 6-13 years.
