Unfortunately, in 2007 I found out that I had developed Osteo arthritis in my right shoulder which had been dislocating for over ten years.
Two reconstruction operations and over two years of rehab later and I'm on the mend.
The pain during my recovery was sometimes unbearable and prescribed painkillers often wouldn't even stop the toothache like pain, that I suffered in the shoulder joint.
Bev offered me some Reiki sessions whilst chatting at a party to see if she could help.
At first, I was a little sceptical as to whether it would help me, If the strong painkillers wouldn't numb it how could Reiki?

After the first session, which was a wonderfully relaxing experience, I went a week without any pain at all.I didn't feel any changes straight away, I got the relief from the joint pain about 12-24hrs after the session. I had a further 4 session when I was really struggling between the two operations and each time there was a marked improvement in my condition.

If, like me, you suffer from similar aches and pains, then give Reiki a go, it may be just what you need.
