Evolution Martial Arts have clubs in Taunton, Wellington and Bridport and welcome people of all ages and abilities. Our classes are carefully designed to make our Martial Arts training both welcoming and accessible to all. We have a strong respect for the history and traditions of the Arts and have a modern approach that adapts these skills to the modern world.

We recognise that everybody has their own reasons for wanting to train in Martial Arts. Common reasons include self defence, confidence building, fitness, weight loss or competition sparring among many others. What ever your reasons our professional instructors can help you to achieve your goal.

Martial Arts training is great for children helping them to learn respect for themselves and others, self discipline, improve their self confidence and improve their general fitness. Alongside this many parents see their children being more focussed and showing marked improvements in concentration levels.

Many adults find that Martial Arts can be a great way to relieve stress, maintain or improve fitness, make new friends and boost their self esteem.

Joining as a family is a great way to share some quality time together. Taking up a new hobby together can help to strengthen family bonds and allow family members to enjoy learning a really useful sport in a fun and friendly atmosphere as students, with the role of teacher passed on to your instructor.

For your safety and peace of mind all of your instructors at Evolution Martial Arts are fully CRB checked and first aid trained.

For those who wish to take things a bit further and take up the sport competitively working towards regional or national competition, our primary instructor is an ex world champion with many years of experience both training and competing at the highest level, and is available to guide and advise you on your chosen path.
