Barn Close is a friendly, family run Bed and Breakfast in Henlade, just outside Taunton. We are only 1 mile from Junction 25 of the M5 and offers our guests an ideal base from which to explore Somerset, Devon and Dorset.

We can offer single, double, twin and family accommodation and all our rooms have colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities. All of our rooms are ensuite except for one which has the use of a private bathroom. Our very competitive prices include either a continental breakfast or if you prefer, our fresh home cooked full English breakfast.

There are numerous pubs and restaurants available within a 2-3 mile radius catering for a wide range of tastes. For the young at heart the centre of Taunton is within a few minutes drive and offers bars, clubs and live music venues. Outside of town are quiet village pubs, the Quantock and Blackdown hills, 4 golf courses, a golf range, and of course Taunton racecourse.

Other local attractions include the West Somerset Steam Railway with frequent excursions to the North Somerset coast. Cricket St Thomas wildlife park is approximately 30 minutes away and Taunton is of course the home of Somerset County Cricket Club, and the County Ground is within 10 minutes drive.

At Barn Close Bed & Breakfast we are more than happy to advise our guests on these and many other local attractions. We are also happy for guests to bring their pets along to stay but this is only available by prior arrangement. We aim to offer you a warm, friendly, comfortable place to stay, at a very reasonable price, whether they are here on holiday or on business.
