The Whiteley Read name has been associated with Pressure Vessels and the Process Industries since 1937 and operated fabrication facilities in South Yorkshire since 1983.

Whitley Read Engineering Ltd located at The Gateway, Rotherham centralises and integrates all operating disciplines including Engineering, Design, project Management, procurement, Manufacture, Quality Assurance, Sales and Administration.

Our Factory with covered area of 1500 square metres is services by two overhead cranes, allowing the manufacture of Pressure Vessels, Columns and associated fabrications of up to 200 Tonnes.

The facility is ideally situated to “Fast Track” projects and can easily be dedicated to Stainless / Duplex fabrications, either in part or in total.

Strategically located near to major road networks ensures that large and heavy fabrications can be transported within the UK and through modern Ports of Goole, Immingham and Hull to most parts of the world. Complimented with mainline railway stations at Doncaster and Sheffield, together with international airports of Manchester, East Midlands and Leeds/Bradford.

• Clad – Carbon and Chrome Molybdenum clad with Stainless Steel including weld-overlayed
