A commercial energy performance certificate is now legisation as of the 4th January 2009 and all commercial buildings which are sold, leased or constructed must now have one. The buildings include small retail units, industrial units, offices and large industrial premises.  The certificate gives the building a rating of  A - G based on its energy efficiency and carbon emissions and also offers recommendations to improve its energy performance.

We are fully trained and qualified to issue the commercial energy performance certification but this is only part of the service we can offer.

 What is taken into account to calculate the energy rating is the size, age, heating, ventilation, windows, heating systems and insulation, all this information is calculated to rate the energy efficiency of the building. The assessment does not involve any disruption of the building but access is required to all areas for all calculations to be assessed.
