Happy Cat Boarding Cattery offers first class care for your cat. We have been established for over 14 years and have built up a superb reputation for excellent care with a personal service. Our cattery is purpose built to F.A.B. standards and will accommodate your feline friend in comfort and security. The cattery is conveniently situated between Huddersfield and Wakefield with easy access to the M1.

Accomodation

The cats are housed in spacious and centrally heated separate chalets each with its own covered run with climbing facilities and a separate post all overlooking the garden. Each chalet has a window with a shelf under to allow the less adventurous to perch & look out over the gardens. The run itself either overlooks the gardens, fields, or stables adding interest & stimulation whilst at the same time providing a tranquil environment for your cat to relax in. The run has a scratching post & shelf along with a tiered shelving unit allowing a range of levels for your cat to perch on. From the run the cats can see each other but not have physical contact.

Food & Healthcare

Special diets are catered for fresh fish and chicken cooked daily and veterinary attendance is assured if necessary and any prescribed treatment can be continued. Cats are usually fed twice daily but in the case of the elderly & kittens we feed up to 4 times a day. If however your cat has a particular dietary problem then we will feed according to their individual needs. Diabetic cats are welcome .Vaccinations and boosters must have been completed and certification is required.All cats are fully insured whilst boarding & it is the policy of Happy Cat that if a cat is suspected of being unwell, they will be taken immediately to the vet. Owners can rest assured that there will be no delay in this procedure & unless a pre-existing condition, the vet bill will be the responsibility of Happy Cat.

The cattery itself is set amongst 15 acres of open countryside; it is quiet and peaceful with only the occasional call of our peacocks to disturb the peace. A viewing inspection is more than welcome; book early to avoid disappointment.
